Hmmm... I forgot about that.
Unless he had his henchmen do all the fighting, while he (a ritualist perhaps) kept healing everyone.

lol this is what really happened...
if you watch the unwaking waters beginning cinematic, you can see the part where shiro kills the emperor.
when shiro and the emperor(with his retinue) went to the temple, the emperor told the guard that there was a "change of plans" and shiro could enter with the emperor along with the retinue.
Then Shiro got his headaches, blah blah blah.... the end.
Shiro's headaches kept telling him "the emperor wants to kill you" or "beware the harvest ceremony" or "there has been a change of plans" over and over in his head.
Thus Shiro thought that the "change of plans" meant that the emperor wanted to kill shiro in the temple.

I'm guessing it's some evil's grand plan of taking over the whole, and shiro was just a pawn

The Vizier was a servant of Abaddon before the Searing, it is unkown if Shiro was a follower before talking to the FortuneTeller, maybe theres some sidequest about that?

Probably the fortune teller was some sort of Abaddon's seer..sent to corrupt ppl's mind and "taint" them. Shiro was revealed to be a general of Abaddon..his fighting skills might have cought Abaddon's attention, and he could be used to take over the world..probably the emperor found out/ was told (also from some sort of fortune teller??) tht Shiro is going to kill him,the same thing the fortune teller told Shiro, Shiro or the emperor, beware the harvest ceremony!!...probably just tht Shiro acted first and no doubt more powerful.
